Butcher Baker. Honest Food. Good Times.
Inspired by the age-old artisan trades of butchery and baking, Butcher Baker brings honest food and good times to Bangalow. Located in a beautiful heritage building on the main street, this spacious modern café combines a love of meat, bread, and beer, making it one of the must-visit Bangalow Cafes.
We offer a wide selection of all day breakfast and lunch options, featuring our breads, pastries, and sweet treats, baked on-site in our in-house bakery. Butcher Baker is fully licensed, with local craft beer on tap, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options such as fresh cold-pressed juices, milkshakes, smoothies, and sodas. We also serve local specialty coffee, expertly roasted by Ground Control Coffee Roasters. Visit us and experience why we are a standout among Bangalow Cafes. Checkout our Menus!

Award Winning Butcher Baker
The Australian Good Food & Travel Guide boasts a long and colourful history. Founded in 1977, two years of comprehensive research and compilation saw the release of Australia’s first national restaurant, accommodation and travel guide in 1979. Originally inspired by the Michelin and Gault Millau guides of Europe, the earliest guides carried the title: ‘Guide Bonvoyage’
In response to market research, the name was changed in 1984 to the ‘Australian Good Food & Accommodation Guide’ and later again to the ‘Australian Good Food & Travel Guide’ (AGFG).
Since the launch of the agfg.com.au website in 1999, its popularity has grown exponentially.
